Thanks to the long-standing partnership between Memorysolution and Samsung, Memorysolution is today one of the largest distributors for Samsung Semiconductor components in Central Europe.
With over 25 years of experience, spezialized in memory, Memorysolution stands for the highest level of expertise and advice. Thanks to our European warehouse in Breisach ; Germany, which was extended in 2017, we can guarantee maximum security of supply as well as fast response and lead times for all memory solutions.
Samsung’s DDR5 was developed for the requirements of big data and is setting new standards for transfer speeds with a transfer rate of up to 7,200 Mbit/s. With twice the burst length from 8 to 16 and twice the number of banks from 8 to 16, DDR5 achieves more than doubled increase in performance compared to DDR4, processing even 8K content seamlessly.
An optimized production in Samsung’s 10nm class and the use of EUV technology enables the chip units to leap from 16GB to 32GB, resulting in a total capacity of up to 512GB per module.
Our sales engineers will be happy to support you with further information as well as for inquiries and orders.

The ODECC technology (On-Die Error-Correction Code) applied in DDR5 ensures that Samsung modules withstand demanding environmental influences and that data transmission is guaranteed even under unfavorable conditions as ODECC virtually eliminates single-bit errors.
In addition to the high speed and the increased capacity, another strength of the DDR5 modules is their low power consumption, which means that the energy efficiency could be increased by 30% compared to DDR4. The on-DIMM PMIC boosts both power management efficiency as well as power supply stability, bringing significant TCO benefits. Replacing DDR4 with DDR5 in a data center saves up to 1 TWh of electricity annually.
